2018-07-13 - Orthanc 1.4.0 has just been released!

This release features a brand new jobs engine, which notably enables simultaneous DICOM transfers. Many fixes and improvements are included as well.

2018-07-17 - The Orthanc project announces official support of MySQL and MariaDB:

This announcement comes together with 4 updates:

  • Orthanc 1.4.1 - Fixes a deadlock in Lua scripts that upload modified DICOM images after processing.

  • MySQL 1.0 - Initial release of the MySQL/MariaDB plugins: https://www.orthanc-server.com/static.php?page=mysql

  • PostgreSQL 2.2 - Performance improvements with new indexes and optimized range search (if used together with Orthanc >= 1.4.0).

  • Windows Installers 18.7.1 - These installers bundle all the individual updates above.
