2018-12-10 - Orthanc 1.5.0 ans Osimis installers 18.12.0 have just been released!
This release notably introduces split/merge primitives in the REST API, and features a version of Orthanc Explorer that can be used in the presence of large databases. Many fixes and improvements are included as well.

This maintenance release features optimizations during searches for DICOM resources (e.g. during C-FIND or through the REST API), by greatly reducing the number of accesses to the storage area. This change might have huge impact on cloud deployments using a blob storage.

This maintenance release features new primitives in the Orthanc SDK to optimize database plugins in the presence of large datasets. It also comes with several fixes.
New releases of the PostgreSQL and MySQL plugins that take advantage of the new SDK primitives will soon be available. The Osimis installers for Windows will be published by that time.
