Whole-slide imaging plugin 3.2

Dear Orthanc community,

In addition to the release of Orthanc 1.12.7, I am pleased to announce that version 3.2 of the whole-slide imaging plugin is also available.

This maintenance release brings the following improvements:

  • Added support for more transfer syntaxes in the Web viewer plugin, including JPEG-LS.
  • The OrthancWSIDicomizer command-line tool can now generate JPEG-LS instances with argument --compression=jpeg-ls.
  • Support windowing if rendering grayscale images using on-the-fly deep zoom (check out this discussion).
  • Added tolerance to imaged volume width/height by looking only at the finest level (check out this discussion).
  • The photometric interpretation of JPEG2000 images generated by OrthancWSIDicomizer has been fixed to the correct value RGB.
