Whole Slide DICOM Image and Grayscale Softcopy Presentation State Storage

Our Whole Slide DICOM images have annotations and we want to export annotations encoded in Grayscale Softcopy Presentation State Storage images.

Does Orthanc Viewer display these annotations reading from Grayscale Softcopy Presentation State Storage images ?

Hi Anil,
Please share a sample image for testing.
Best Regards,
Alvin

Hi Alvin,

We are implementing the changes to create Grayscale Presentation objects. We are looking to test our changes. We want to use Orthanc Whole Slide Image viewer to test.

Hello,

If you don’t provide a sample image, we cannot provide any insight.

Hello Sébastien,

We are still implementing the changes to generate Presentation State DICOM objects for the measurements done in Whole Slide Images. Once i finish, i will send across the images.

The problem is, as of now, we do not have a WSI Viewer to test our changes and validate that it is working fine and confirms to DICOM standard.

Hello,

To be fair, I am unsure to correctly understand the context of your question. Are you aware of the fact that the Orthanc ecosystem provides a WSI viewer as a plugin to Orthanc, and that Grayscale Softcopy Presentation State Storage images can notably be rendered by the Stone Web viewer plugin for Orthanc?

Sébastien-

Thanks Sebastien. We are developing software to generate Presentation State DICOM objects for the measurements done in Whole Slide Images. We were not aware that Stone Web viewer plugin can display. We will use the Stone Web viewer to test our changes. Thanks.

Hi Sébastien,

Can Stone Web viewer be used to view WSI images ?

Sorry if i am not able to correctly put my question.
We have a scanner which can generate WSI images. The WSI images have some measurements (in Polygons, Rectangles, Circles, etc.). We want to add these measurements in GSPS images. We want to test these. So, i was asking if the WSI Viewer plugin show the WSI images with our measurements (which are in GSPS images) ?
