I’m trying to compile 1.6 or 1.58 under Ubuntu 18.04 but getting errors. Kindly let me know how to correct this.

You experienced network issues while downloading the packages required by the build system.
Please remove the contents of the orthanc/ThirdPartyDownloads folder (because they contain partially downloaded, hence incorrect, files) and try again.
If it fails again, you might want to PRE-download the files whose URLs appear in the log, like https://orthanc.osimis.io/ThirdPartyDownloads/civetweb-1.11.tar.gz (maybe with a download client able to retry downloads, in case your network connection is unreliable) and place them in the orthanc/ThirdPartyDownloads in advance. If they are already present with the correct MD5 checksum, they will not be downloaded again.
