Hi All,
I was just testing out different PACS for TLS communication. I was able to connect orthanc with dcmtk by following link:
https://book.orthanc-server.com/faq/dicom-tls.html
I was trying to establish the same with Clearcanvas but I could not find much information for TLS based communication between Clearcanvas and other PACS. The only information available is:
https://documentation.clearcanvas.ca/Documentation/GettingStartedGuide/Team/4_0/index.html?installing_x509_certificate.htm
Just want to get confirmation from you if it is possible to do TLS communication between Orthanc & Clearcanvas? in that case, is there any documentation available for the same?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks & Regards
Sujit
Hello,
From what I understand from the link you sent, this link explains how to protect the Web interface of ClearCanvas using HTTPS, which is by no way related to DICOM TLS.
You should direct your question to the ClearCanvas team, and possibly post followup on this thread:
http://clearcanvas.github.io/

Sébastien-
NB: I see that you have already introduced a ticket:
https://github.com/ClearCanvas/ClearCanvas/issues/271
Thank you for your reply Sébastien .
Yes , I have already raised a ticket with Clearcanvas and still waiting for their reply.
Since, I didn’t got any reply from them yet, I posted here to check if Orthanc ever tried a TLS based communication with Clearcanvas Image server or PACS server, so at least I get a confirmation that TLS communication is possible between these two.
Thank you for your time and help.

Sujit
Hello,
Unfortunately, I can’t answer by myself whether ClearCanvas supports DICOM TLS. Your best chance to get this information is really from the ClearCanvas community.
