Is there an option in orthanc stone viewer to start in the sidebar mode of the viewer as the screenshot ?

This has just been implemented in the mainline, and will be available in the forthcoming release 2.5 of the Stone Web viewer:

For locating easier via search.
URL “menu” options are now: hidden, small, grid, or full
“grid” is default value at the study + level
“full” is default value at the series level
A JavaScript alert box tells you if you enter something invalid.
