The next post will have two anonymous files demonstrating two separate reference line errors in Orthanc Stone Web Viewer.
The reference lines show up correctly in my commercial PACS viewer along with Weasis (using v4.0.1). The error points to Orthanc Stone Web Viewer.
Anonymous Example File 1:
There are two “AX T2 DISC” series that have different reference line sets (different orientations). Only one “AX T2 DISC” series appears in Orthanc Stone Web Viewer and the reference lines are incorrect, at that.
I marked the second series’ files with a --B to indicate which are related (more inferior series).
A diff of the “A” vs. “B” “AX T2 DISC” instance files seems to point to the most meaningful difference being: ImageOrientationPatient
Anonymous Example File 2:
In Orthanc Stone Web Viewer, the reference lines are incorrect and meaningless (e.g., incorrectly diagonal).
“Minimal Working Example”
-
System: Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS
-
Orthanc: 1.11.0
-
Stone Web Viewer plugin: 2.5
-
DICOM-Web plugin: 1.9
-
Context: above
-
Observed vs. expected: above, along with “weasis” and “orthanc_stone” JPG files attached
-
Configuration: not meaningful, in this situation, I believe
-
Logs: nothing meaningful appears to arise. This might help:
- E0108 PluginsErrorDictionary.cpp:100] Exception inside the plugin engine: Parameter out of range
-
Sample DICOM files: attached in post below
Please advise if additional details needed.
This problem is intermittent, but effects a non-trivial number of studies. They may all be from a single institution, but I cannot yet narrow that down.
The error may be a result of DICOM-non-compliant behavior at this institution’s MRI software, but I would still appreciate it being resolved. As mentioned, Weasis and my commercial PACS viewer handle without a problem.
Thank you.
