Hi all,
after installing orthanc from the windows installer, in order to make it work successfully within a DICOM network, one needs to manually create a new rule in the windows firewall to allow trafic in and out to Orthanc.exe or one can open the required ports.
has anyone looked at adding this to the windows installer directly? simply have the installer add the rule to the windows firewall to allow incoming and outgoing trafic to Orthanc.exe on the required ports (typically 4242 and possibly 8042)? if you have, please get in touch.
