Context
NeuroICH is an AI/ML-powered tool for detecting brain bleeds. This application will be made available free of charge to low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). This project will revolutionize hyperacute stroke care in LMICs and bridge the digital divide that has caused significant health inequality. We are currently integrating in Pakistan, and will soon be expanding to Bangladesh, India, and the Philippines.
Issue
We are using Orthanc as our backend DICOM server for processing medical images. When running Orthanc on an ARM-based system (NanoPI6S), we encountered errors. However, Orthanc runs smoothly on x86 architectures without issues.
Request
We would like to know if there is an ARM version of the Orthanc server we could use for our needs. If an ARM build exists, please point us to where we can obtain it. If not, we may try rebuilding Orthanc ourselves for ARM. Do you have any advice on how we can make this rebuilding process go more smoothly? Optimizing the build for ARM would allow us to run Orthanc on lower-power devices and better serve healthcare needs in resource-limited environments
