Hi everyone,
The Orthanc Explorer 2 plugin has been updated to version 1.6.0 . It now features a UI to browse remote DICOMWeb servers and we have refactored the browsing interface of remote DICOM nodes.
The GDCM has been updated to v 1.8. Besides a small fix, the default configuration has been updated such that GDCM will only handle J2K transcoding unless you configure it explicitly to handle other transfer syntaxes.
As usual, these updates are available:
- as part of the Windows Installers 24.8.1
- as part of the orthancteam/orthanc:24.8.1 Docker images
Also note that we’ve gone one step further in the deprecation of the Osimis Viewer:
- this plugin is not installed by default anymore in the Windows installer
- the
Open in Osimis Viewerbutton is not enabled by default anymore in OE2. In order to re-enable it, you must provide it to theUiOptions.ViewersOrderingconfiguration.
