2022-12-05 - Stone Web viewer 2.5 is available!

An online demo of the new version is available on our official homepage:

This version brings a number of improvements:

  • Click-drag is available on the vertical slider
  • Added key bindings: Left/right arrows to change the active frame, Up/down arrows to change the active series, Page up/down to change the active study, and Space bar to play/pause videos.
  • New URL argument “menu” to change the layout of the list of studies/series
  • The first series to be loaded is now automatically opened
  • Annotations are grouped into one submenu for narrow screens
  • Support generation of ZIP archives in the presence of authorization tokens
  • Fix measurement of arcs
  • Width of the vertical slider has doubled to ease user interactions
  • Patient sex is displayed in the top-left information panel

The Docker image “jodogne/orthanc-plugins:1.10.1” already contains the updated Stone Web viewer. Updated Windows installers and the “osimis/orthanc” Docker images are currently is the processing of being built by Alain’s build infrastructure.

2022-02-07 - Several new releases

Orthanc 1.11.3 is now available, no big revolutionary features but still:

  • the memory consumption has been optimized on most Linux systems including Docker images,
  • the DICOM modifications/anonymizations have been optimized and we have loosened some of their sanity checks (more info in Orthanc Explorer 2 below)
  • lots of small other changes and fixes in the release notes.

Orthanc Exporer 2 now implements DICOM modifications (release notes)

DICOMWeb 1.13 has also been released to fix a stability issue. Check out the full release notes.

Transfers accelerator plugin 1.4 has also been released with minor changes. (release notes).
