MRI Images Error: Bad File Format

We are receiving MRI images from one location, however, The images are received but not all images are not shown in the Orthanc Web Interface.
When we use OHIF to see the images, it opens all images but with errors in the devtools and in the Orthanc Server.

we are getting a long list of repeated following error when opening the images:

E1126 10:00:38.365647 PluginsManager.cpp:197] Exception while invoking plugin service 4013: Bad file format
E1126 10:00:38.366286 PluginsErrorDictionary.cpp:111] Exception inside the plugin engine: Bad file format

Dicom Image Link: https://we.tl/t-JWr5KAloLz

Using Dicom-web version 1.2 on Ubuntu

I can’t easily reproduce your issue.

Please could you send one single DICOM file (not a full study), together with the command-line tools or with the URL in Orthanc Explorer that lead to this message? We also need the full Orthanc configuration, and full logs in “–verbose” mode:

Sébastien-

In the absence of answer from you, I have pursued the investigations.

It appears that all the images for which the “http://localhost:8042/dicom-web/studies/{...}/series/{...}/instances/{...}/frames/1” URI (or, equivalently, the “http://localhost:8042/instances/{...}/preview” URI) fails are the images where the DICOM tag “Photometric Interpretation” (0028,0004) is absent.

But, “Photometric Interpretation” is a type 1 tag (i.e. mandatory for images).

This means that your DICOM images are invalid, and that the issue does not lie within Orthanc.
