Migration from DCM4CHEE to Orthanc

Hi folks,

I am in the process of evaluating Orthanc for a group of veterinary clinics that currently use a separate instance of DCM4CHEE at each clinic. I am considering whether to centralise the PACS server and migrate each DCM4CHEE instance to the new central Orthanc instance, or simply create an individual Orthanc instance for each clinic and migrate their DCM4CHEE servers to their unique instance.

What migration techniques have others had success with?

Long winded but since our DCM4CHEE got corrupted we had to pull everything from backups. We first loaded them to Horace then uploaded them to the new Orthanc. I’m sure there was an easier way but we needed it done quickly and that how I figured to do it right then and there.

Alex, may i ask why you moving from dcm4chee ?
