Sorry for not using Forum. Last night I was playing around with ChatGPT to do localizations for Chinese with someone else on the Forum. He tested it and it does pretty well, with maybe a few edits here and there by a native speaker. There is a pull request for that one that you already apparently know about.
I did a few more for German, Arabic, Dutch, and Ukrainian. Those are on my Fork but not submitted yet.
I have an OpenAI API Key and was using that for Whisper. It is pretty good for Speech → Text. The API is somewhat similar for ChatGPT with prompts, which was pretty easy really in the Web interface, but I haven’t done any ChatGPT stuff yet via the API, except for the whisper-1 endpoint.
It would be interesting to try doing the entire EU that way.
