Hello,
I would like to get some insights and help if Orthanc could be a good PACS solution for a small women’s imaging center which was run by my wife.
My name is Bojan from Bosnia and I am running a Software development company for more than 10y and now I am helping my wife to find the best solution for PACS application for her Women’s imaging center - with the following modalities: -
ultrasound x2
- mammography with tomosynthesis
- DXA
The clinic is specialized in woman’s health, and currently, it operates on 10 patients daily on all modalities with an expected maximum of 30-40 patients per day. Some patients are doing 2 or more procedures (breast ultrasound + mammography etc).
Regarding hardware there are no limitations, there is a 1Gbit network in a clinic and a prepared place for a server with a NAS storage solution.
The patient CRM application is custom-made and developed in Laravel, and it was tailored for women’s health (with BiRads classifications, specific breast markups, etc,).
So I would like to get some insights and recommendations if Orthanc could be a proper solution for PACS Server and integration with our modalities.
We have unlocked and paid DICOM licenses on all modalities.
Thanks
