Is it possible to retrieve the disk space using by a resource / instance / series / study?

Hello !

We are planning to build a DICOM cache using Orthanc. We want to allow managing the storage precisely for a bunch of resources and we checked the API.

We saw that it’s possible to retrieve the global storage space used by Orthanc. We haven’t found a way to retrieve the storage space used by a resource.

Is there something possible to retrieve that information ?

Maybe it’s possible to store a metadata containing that space and request / retrieve this information…

Hi Stefane,

You can request the file size of each resource level through …/id/statistics endpoint. For example, Orthanc REST API
