I am trying to use the folder indexer plugins for Orthanc on Windows.
The folder that I need to index is a network shared location (e.g. \my-remote-pc\sample-dicom-files).
This is not working by using the shared location by hostname.
The indexer configuration as in the attached file.
If you are running Orthanc as a service, it could be that the service user does not have the permissions required to use the network share.
Please locate the service and change (in the Log On tab) the user that runs Orthanc and pick a user that is able to use this network share.
This example is for another service, but the procedure is similar.
You can also try to stop the service and launch Orthanc manually first (by launching the Orthanc.exe executable directly) to check if my hypothesis is correct)
