DicomWeb plugin Exception of Unknown DICOM tag for Private Data Element Tags while using Query Parameters

Hello,

According to the DICOM standards, private data element tags can be used for query parameters as DICOM attribute/value pairs. (PS3.18)

But when I use private data element tags as DICOM attribute/value pairs for query parameters,
I can only see the exception below.

“E1023 23:14:50.487209 PluginsManager.cpp:188] Exception while invoking plugin service 26: Unknown DICOM tag”

I have tried setting the option of LoadPrivateDictionary as true and registering my private data element tags in Dictionary on Orthanc, with both the options of StudiesMetadata and SeriesMetadata “Full” inside the DicomWeb section, but I still see the exception.

I would appreciate it if someone would help resolve the issue.

Hi SoonMin,

I have added the feature to the TODO list of the dicom-web plugin. However, not that this probably won’t be fixed very soon.
