Can we use MS SQL SERVER rather than POSTGRYSQL SERVER with ORTHANC to store DICOM images, if yes then how we can use this ?
if possible , please give some valuable solutions .
No, you could not use MS SQL SERVER, there is no pluging to use it. You are free to devel one following the plugings docs.
You could use PostgreSQL on Windows if you want, a far better solution than MSSQL.
There’s currently no option to use a MSSQL server with Orthanc.
Note that, for those who are interested, Osimis is currently building a MSSQL plugin for Orthanc and it will soon be available for purchase (sorry, no free software to connect to a commercial SQL server). Contact me directly if you are interested.
