I ask as a user, is it possible to sequentially order the opening of the images from the first when we drag a series to be displayed in each of its images? It happens that we drag a series and the first image shown in the viewer seems to be random or any image but not the first in the series

**Hello,**

Actually, the initial image is not taken “at random”. It consists in the image right at the middle of the series. As of writing, the only exception to this rule is when the image is a cine image (which is currently detected by the presence of the “Cine Rate” DICOM tag).

This basic algorithm makes perfect sense for volumetric 3D images, but could visibly be improved for other modalities. Please provide your suggestion for a new rule, together with sample images.

**Kind Regards,**
