Upload video mp4 format to orthanc server

Hi,
i would like to send my endoscopy video in MP4 format to orthanc server. I tried to use orthanc upload interface but failed. Is there any specific way to transfer MP4 format. Or i need to convert MP4 to series of JPEG and then convert to DICOM before upload to orthanc server.
