Hello Orthanc users,
I would like your advice on the problem I’m currently facing.
Can i move orthanc’s “Storage Directory” to another partition (currently storageDirectory=“C: \Orthanc”) due to disk saturation.
What are the procedures for doing this ?, if possible, of course.
Whether the folder with the study data can be moved to another location, as long as it is indicated in the orthanc.log configuration file. In my personal case, I have the data of the studies on a NAS on the network, but I keep the index files on disk C, this allows me to have a lot of space available to store the patient studies, but keeping the times of location of the studies.
I hereby confirm William’s answer: You should first stop Orthanc, move the “OrthancStorage” folder elsewhere, and adapt the “StorageDirectory” and “IndexDirectory” configuration options of Orthanc to reflect the new location of the data.
