# Start Python-script from Orthanc-Explorer

Hi,
Is it possible to add a (new webpage with a) button to Orthanc-explorer and start a python-script when the button is pushed?
Why this question? I am busy creating a Python-script to convert a appointments-report (Excel) from our EMR into WL-files for our ultrasound-modalities (C-Find). We want to create the worklists from the Orthanc Explorer UI, also for testing, and later, with a simular Python-script, when the script is triggered by a C-Find from a modality.

Dear Gerard,
I have just added a new [sample in the Orthanc Book](https://book.orthanc-server.com/plugins/python.html#extending-the-orthanc-explorer-interface) to show how to add a new button in Orthanc Explorer that triggers a Python plugin.
