I am going to make a presentation of orthanc, my experience is a qnap equipment with 33 thousand dicom files, please can you tell me other experiences of installations with a large number of files.

We do maintain setups with up to 50TB of data and up to 100M of dicom files.

Question, what server and hardware and software features do you have? How do you carry out your backup?
It is to project us, as the dicom files are increasing.

Hello,

We don’t manage the hardware part of the setups.
Usually, there are virtual machines, running Debian; and Docker allows us to deploy quite easily.

You can rely on the hypervisor backup system as we do.
You could also deploy a second Orthanc with data replication.
