Hello!
We have a system connected to a PACS system. We are using Orthanc as a dicom listener in order to receive dicom data from PACS.
In the last days we observed these failures:
- Receiving Association failed: Unrecognized PDU type: 0
- Receiving Association failed: Unrecognized PDU type: 91
- Unrecognized PDU type: 3a
- Receiving Association failed: Unrecognized PDU type: 48
- Receiving Association failed: DUL Illegal associate PDU. Got 1 bytes of data. The minimum allowed size is 68.
- Receiving Association failed: Unrecognized PDU type: 16
Does anybody know what these errors means?
Thanks,
Alex
Hi,
First advice: be patient with people helping you on a community forum.
Second advice: Wireshark is your friend.

Thanks for the suggestions !
Hello,
And a third advice: Get in touch with the support team of your PACS vendor. You pay for those teams to assist you, and they have full access to both the source code of Orthanc and the logs of your PACS:

Hello,
Thanks !
It’s strange because the connection between Pacs and our Orthanc worked for 3 weeks.
Hello,

This typically indicates a recent change in the configuration of your PACS, or of your network topology. Get in touch with your local PACS administrator.
