Hi,

If you have a VPN connection between the main hospital and the branches, you may either use standard DICOM Query & Retrieve or DicomWEB.
If not, then you should somehow expose the branch Orthancs on the WEB and [DicomWEB](https://book.orthanc-server.com/plugins/dicomweb.html) is your only option.

Of course, you should make sure to use HTTPS, enable authentication and users on the branch orthanc and really make sure that everything is secured correctly.

Hope this helps,

Alain.

I was also thinking about exposing ORTHANCS on the web and DicomWeb.

Thank you soo much for clearing my confusion by answering me.
