Same time image sent to our main DICOM Server Doctor Eleks software is normal.
and with information like letter R.

Any ideas why?

Hello,

If you expect support from the Orthanc community, please share a (possibly anonymized) sample DICOM file, and specify the viewer you are trying to use:

Hi community, dicom files:

At any viewer:

  1. Zexira - DE - normal brightness
  2. Zexira - Orthanc - dark brightness

Hello,

After investigation, it appears that your file “sent_to_orthanc_dark_01.dcm” has a preset windowing of “WW/WC” (window width/center) that is incorrectly set to “76800 / 32512”.

This absolutely doesn’t reflect the dynamic range of your image, which leads to dark images in the Stone Web viewer. You should report this issue to your support contact from Toshiba, as there is visibly an incorrect setting on your modality.

Nonetheless, I have just added a new feature in the Stone Web viewer to stretch the windowing to the dynamic range of the image, as depicted in the attached screenshot. This feature can serve as a workaround to your issue.

The corresponding changeset is the following (it will be part of the next release of the Stone Web viewer):
