Moving from AWS S3 to GCP Bucket

I’ve been using AWS S3 now i want to start using GCP Bucket because i’ve been having issues with transfer accelerator plugin + s3 plugin.

How can i safely move old datas to gcp bucket

Hello,

What makes you think that your “issues” will disappear with GCP ? Why don’t you try to solve your “issues” first ? Why don’t you describe your “issues” ?

mmm, let me think … by moving or copying the files from S3 to GCP :light_bulb: ?

My issue is described on this thread and it seem to be a problem with Transfer accelerator plugin and s3. Especially when uploading large CT images.

6 weeks ago, a new configuration has been introduced: orthanc-transfers: e90266cc3d9b

new “PeerCommitTimeout” configuration to configure the HTTP Timeout when committing a push transfer. During that time, the remote peer plugin must import all files into Orthanc which can take a significant time if the transfer is large. The default value is set to 600 seconds.

This is available only in the mainline binaries.
