Is Orthanc able to store and retrieve DBT (Digital Breast Tomography) correctly?

Hi,

In the Orthanc-stored DBT (Digital Breast Tomography) images, are they displayed correctly? However, in the OHIF viewer, they are currently being displayed individually instead of continuously like a video.

Is Orthanc able to store and retrieve DBT correctly, or do we need to make some configuration changes in Orthanc?

Hi Mehul,

To my knowledge, there’s no known issue wrt DBT. I would suggest that you install Orthanc and try with your data.

I have installed Orthanc version “1.12.0” on my Ubuntu (20.04) system and checked the DBT DICOM image in the OHIF viewer. However, it is displaying like normal images and not as a video.

Is there any configuration required at the Orthanc level or in the OHIF viewer for this?

Hello,

DBT are fully supported by Orthanc out-of-the-box.

If you expect further support from this community, please share sample DICOM files.

As far as OHIF is supported, have you checked the new OHIF plugin for Orthanc?
