Improve download performance with Radiant

Hello,

Can someone please explain why when I’m downloading a study from the web client is downloading with 20mb/s but when I try to download the same study with Radiant on the same machine is downloading with 5-10mb/s?

Does it have to do with caching?
Retrieve protocol used is C-Move and transfer syntax JPEG 2000 Loseless

Hi,

Likely not.

If your files are stored in another transfer syntax and Radiant requests them in JP2K then, Orthanc needs to compress them which is quite CPU intensive for JP2K → this could explain a slow down.
