# How to get notified of new releases?

Hi,

People often ask how to get notified by email when a new release is available. Here’s how:

1. Create an account in [https://discourse.orthanc-server.org/](https://discourse.orthanc-server.org/)
2. In your `Profile` → `Preferences` menu, go to the `Tracking` tab and make sure you **watch** the `Releases` category

3. In the `Emails` tab, make sure you receive an email when there is new activity in your watched categories
