# Dicom RT second generation

Hello, does orthanc support Dicom RT second generation? Is there some free .dcm datasets for Dicom RT second generation?

Hello,

What do you mean by “support”? The ability to store and query?

AFAIK, Dicom second generation defines a model of objects and relationships that is completely expressed within the DICOM model, which means that Orthanc, that transparently stores conformant DICOM, should have no problems with such files.

Is your question related to _viewing_ them, perhaps?
